Needles Overlook

After leaving the Needles District in Canyonlands National Park, we took the detour to the Needles Overlook, which is actually outside the park. It provides great panoramic views of the Indian Creek Wilderness and the Abajos to the south, the Needles District to the west, north towards Dead Horse Point and Island in the Sky and east to the La Sal mountains. It is one of the finest viewpoints in the area.
