A Day Out in November

In November we celebrated a birthday by visiting Torrey Pines State Reserve, north of La Jolla, for the first time. From the visitor center it's possible to hike to the cliff top overlooking the Pacific and if fit and adventurous to hike down to the beach. We decided to stay on top and walked to Yucca Point and Razor Point. After the reserve we drove to La Jolla for lunch at the excellent El Pescador fish restaurant on Pearl Street. On our way home we drove up to Double Peak Park in San Marcos to watch the sun set on an enjoyable day out.
